right on your proposal. All of the quotes we provide include our service fees, so there’s no guesswork involved.*

With Valyceum Financial you can increase your customer base by offering them the freedom to make small monthly payments rather than paying for upgrades up front. Valyceum Financial educates your customers and guides them through the financing process. We provide financing programs and enable customers to take advantage of federal and state tax credits and incentives. Your business will reap the benefits of the extra service with no extra work. Valyceum Financial charges only 2.5% of the project’s cost to manage all your customers’ financing needs, which you build right into your proposal.

Financing Energy Upgrades with Energy Star
How it works:
- A Building Performance Institute- certified contractor competes the summary bid and summits it to the Conservation Services Group (CSG)
- Through the submission software, CSG inputs current characteristics about the house and the effectiveness of upgrades
- Within 2-3 days of the receipt of the bid summary, CSG gives the thumbs up and the final loan documents are cut. Once documents are in hand, work begins
- The full cost is paid by Energy Star once CSG receives certification of completion signed by the homeowner
- If you are set up with ACH, payment goes to that account within 48 hours
- If you are not set up with ACH, the check is cut and mailed within 48 hours
What we do for you:
- Process the loan paperwork for the Energy Star financing partner
- Get you linked up as a subcontractor with a Building Performance Institute contractor if you aren’t certified yourself
- Follow-through with the pre-approval letter and get the rest of the documentation needed from the customer
- Eliminate the need for you to process payments or worry about collections
- Offer our services under your company’s brand so it looks like your company does it all
What your client sees:
- You take their application & get a pre-approval letter
- You finalize the application and let Energy Star know about the work you'll be doing for you to make their home more efficient
- You ask them to sign a Certificate of Completion as soon as the work is done so you’ll be paid for the work while your client enjoys low monthly payments
Financing Upgrades with Home Equity
How it works:
- You put together a proposal to save your customers energy through efficiency upgrades and/or on-site energy supplies
- The customer can use an Energy Efficient Mortgage to cash out on available equity in their home and even get extra money to pay for energy renovations to their new or existing home
- The customer can finance any form of efficiency upgrade—including new appliances—and on-site energy supply
- Customers lock in low rates over the lifetime of their mortgage and pay their energy installation along with their house
What we do for you:
- Gather loan documents and link your customers with an Energy Efficient Mortgage lender
- Process credit approvals, and find the best terms possible through the Energy Efficient Mortgage lender
- Arrange the HERS rater and appraiser to meet you on the job site in order to finalize an appraisal that incorporates your work with the value of the home
- Arrange a timely close date for the loan
- The money is held by the bank in escrow until the work is complete and the customer signs a certificate of completion
- Once the certificate of completion is submitted, you receive full payment within 48 hours
What the customer sees:
- It looks like your company makes all the arrangements and offers them great financing options
- They get an easy way to reduce the amount they pay for their mortgage
- They get great terms (loans up to 30 years starting at 5.5% APR) and low equity requirements (some Energy Efficient Mortgage programs offer up to 100% financing for both their house and your upgrades)
- Low monthly payments that allow them to enjoy your upgrade without needing to come up with the money up-front
*Secured loan for $31500 over 30 years at 6.5% APR, includes our service fee and an estimated $750.00 in closing costs. We also arrange unsecured loans with terms starting at 3 years and 5.99% APR.
