Often what keeps people from taking this step is the up front cost of installing clean energy products in their home. With our financing program, we go beyond making it affordable... we save you money every month. Here you will find a brief description of two financing options that are available to you as home owners. Some families choose to finance energy upgrades alone, while others find it beneficial to refinance their home in order to get better terms and energy upgrades all at once. Either way, we also help you maximize all the national and state incentives available for your project. Whatever you decide is right for your family, you will, no doubt, be happy that you became energy independent!

Financing Energy Upgrades Alone
Financing an energy upgrade by itself can be very affordable. Most of the financing is through Energy Star, which allows you to finance energy efficient upgrades. By using a Contractor certified by the Building Performance Institute, you can receive up to $20,000.00 at 5.99% APR for 3, 5, 7 or 10 year terms. If you are already working with a contractor, we can help them get set up with this program as well. If you aren’t, we can suggest established and reputable contractors for your energy improvement. We are an Energy Star Partner and can help customers in all 50 states get financing for their energy upgrades.

Financing Energy and Your Home Together
By financing (or re-financing) your home along with your energy upgrade, you can get rates as low as 5.5% for a 30 year term. Also, many banks and government agencies offer Energy Efficient Mortgages, which allow you to borrow more and pay less than normal mortgages. The EEM has been around since 1983 and our lending partner has been offering these products for decades.
